I’m excited to be heading out to the iRecruit Expo in Amsterdam again this summer – but this year, with a twist. In previous years, I’ve attended as a vendor, as a blogger and as a track leader for the unconference. This year, I’m taking on a little more.
I’ll be live-tweeting the best of the discussions as always, and will be leading a discussion for the unconference side of the event on day two. Day one however, sees me moderating one of the rooms talking tech in recruitment and more specifically, chairing a panel discussion.
Sian will be flying in from Paris, and Grant from London. We’ll be talking about the future of recruitment and particularly, the impact technology is having. However, where most discussions of this kind focus purely on actual tech, we’ll also be looking at the way some of the processes and approaches from “fail fast” tech startup teams can benefit recruiters. Sian & Grant bring with them a wealth of blue-chip, cross-border experience.
I also want to throw a curve-ball in the mix though: if it’s the tech startup firms who are disrupting markets around the world, how are they acquiring their talent? How do they stay ahead, and what can we learn there? My final guest looks after a portfolio of tech startup recruiting needs and will no doubt have a very different perspective to share!
Very much looking forward to the event – Marc and his team always go the distance and put on a show with an extraordinary level of polish!
